Role Overview
As a Technical Writer you will work closely with development teams, testers and other writers, gathering information from various sources including stakeholders, subject matter experts and pre-release software, and producing a variety content and information deliverables. You will work alongside a global team of technical writers and instructional designers who create documentation and eLearning to support the organisations product portfolio. You will be passionate about learning new software and sharing that knowledge with others. You will be driven by finding new ways to develop the right content people need to use the products, services, and solutions to build their products.

Skills and experience required
- Experience of Madcap Flare authoring tool.
- Experience with Agile in a SCRUM environment.
- Experience with GitHub or another source control.
- Experience writing technical content for software solutions.
- Experience using JIRA/Confluence and SharePoint.
- Ability to maintain and adhere to project and individual schedules.
- Ability to effectively cope with multiple tasks and resolve conflicts caused by competing priorities.
- Can interpret complex information into goal-oriented, user-friendly content.
- Can research a topic and translate the information into goal-oriented, user-friendly content.
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to spot errors.
- Knows content authoring tools such as Madcap Flare, Camtasia, Rise, and Snag It.
- Possess a good knowledge of technical writing principles.
