Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are partnering confidentially with a leading player in the timber manufacturing industry to recruit a Shift Supervisor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that is part of a larger industry leader in timber processing across the UK & Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production operations in the manufacturing of timber frame kits.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control systems and standards.
- Manage and lead a team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Promote and drive continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing of personnel at all times.
- Monitor and maintain accurate production and loading documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
- Manage team attendance, timekeeping, and overtime.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience as a Senior Production Technician/Team Leader/Supervisor within a Production/Manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to motivate a team.
- Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
