Location: Hybrid (Glasgow office, remote working supported, with some client-site travel as required)

Role Overview

The Senior Power Platform Consultant will play a key role in designing and delivering solutions, supporting pre-sales activities, and integrating AI-driven innovations into client offerings. This position requires a mix of technical expertise, client engagement, and a passion for cutting-edge technology.

The role supports the company’s broader strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with an AI-driven approach and strengthening its position as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Consultancy

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Pages).

  • Lead solution delivery, including requirement gathering, workshops, development, testing, deployment, and training.

  • Work with the delivery team to integrate AI-driven methodologies within workflows and solution designs.

  • Provide expert consultancy, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights on Power Platform and AI integration.

AI Training & Upskilling

  • Support the development and delivery of AI training programs.

  • Create resources and proof-of-concepts demonstrating AI and Power Platform synergies.

  • Continuously develop expertise in AI technologies to ensure relevance in training and solution development.

Pre-Sales & Thought Leadership

  • Assist with pre-sales activities, including preparing proposals, delivering demos, and responding to client inquiries.

  • Contribute to thought leadership by supporting marketing initiatives.

  • Represent the company at industry events, reinforcing its position as a leader in AI and Power Platform solutions.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools and improve efficiency in project delivery.

  • Experiment with AI technologies to create accelerators and intellectual property.

  • Document process improvements and contribute to best-practice frameworks.

Key Deliverables for the Year:

  1. Complete AI training within the first month and continue professional development.

  2. Lead and execute end-to-end low-code design and development projects to an exceptional standard.

  3. Oversee work delivered by junior team members.

  4. Drive AI integration into project workflows.

  5. Support and mentor junior colleagues on Power Platform best practices.

  6. Contribute to marketing efforts by demonstrating AI expertise.

  7. Assist the pre-sales team as needed, including demo support and proposal development.

Candidate Profile

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Power Platform development (Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Pages).

  • Knowledge of AI tools within Power Platform, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI Builder.

  • Experience delivering complex projects in a client-facing role, with a track record of meeting KPIs.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions effectively.

  • Understanding of pre-sales processes and stakeholder engagement.

  • Commercial awareness to support financial targets.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience applying AI tools within Power Platform.

  • Exposure to financial services or regulated industries.
