Title: Sales Manager
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid working with regular travel to visit clients)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + £40,000 OTE bonus (uncapped)
This new Sales Manager will be joining a well established and credible business, selling Managed IT Services. With an impressive portfolio existing clients, the new team member will come in and join a highly successful technical team with some phenomenal partners in industry, making the new business proposition highly attractive to their target SME client base.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Managed Services, the new Sales Manager will be responsible for researching target clients, making cold out reaches through marketing campaigns, cold calling, networking events and face to face meetings. They will then work with the tech team to negotiate a competitive proposition and close sales.
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and outbound strategies
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects
- Arrange and conduct meetings with prospects to understand their needs
- Collaborate with our solution experts to develop compelling solutions
- Create and deliver presentations and proposals to prospects
- Negotiate and close deals
- Meet quarterly objectives and sales targets
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a B2B sales role, selling services, ideally selling technical solutions
- Experience of identifying and developing new business with new clients
- Proven experience of seeking out and building relationships at senior levels
- Ability to build rapport quickly with clients at various decision-making levels
- Proven track record of closing opportunities for new business
- Proven experience of writing and presenting winning proposals
