Role Purpose:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Product Owner/IT Business partner with experience delivering IT projects in the supplier industry and having developed strong ‘route to consumer’ experience.

With the support of and the leadership of team of 3 to support your analytics, you will be responsible for the design, realisation, operation, and maintenance of products that align with our business requirements in marketing and commercial areas. You will act as the single point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction while driving engagement between core business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Representation: Act as the primary representative for the product within the organisation, fostering successful relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Business Requirements Understanding: Ensure a thorough understanding of business priorities, guaranteeing that our products are customer-centric and aligned with business goals.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the realisation, operation, and maintenance of products, adhering to service level agreements, timelines, ROI, and quality standards.
  • Agile Team Leadership: Provide direction and coordination for an agile product team to optimise value, speed, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring effective ways of working.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly report on product status and agile team progress to stakeholders, utilising established governance frameworks.
  • Documentation Review: Review and approve documentation for functional and non-functional requirements, applying appropriate agile methodologies.
  • Service Level Definition: Define, monitor, and control service level requirements, ensuring targets are consistently achieved.
  • Portfolio Management Support: Assist in forecasting demand, capacity, and budget requirements to meet product needs, aligning with broader business objectives.
  • User Story Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and prioritize product user stories based on business value and ROI.
  • Sprint Planning & Review: Conduct sprint planning and reviews, managing the outputs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work closely with QA/Test engineers and DevOps to ensure product testing is executed to defined standards.
  • Documentation Standards: Ensure that the agile product team produces and maintains necessary documentation according to established standards.
  • Change Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of changes on current processes, master data, business models, and technology architecture, working alongside teams to meet business objectives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong CRM knowledge, i.e. Salesforce, Grapevine etc
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product ownership principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record in stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to deliver customer satisfaction and manage expectations.
  • Experience in budget management and capacity forecasting.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing and commercial strategies.
