Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be partnering with Benriach, part of Brown-Forman, to recruit a Maintenance Engineer for their bonded warehouse facility in Newbridge.

The role:

You will be responsible for conducting engineering operations to maintain efficient operation of all the bottling lines in order to maximize levels of production. You’ll also support wider functions within the business to complete engineering projects.

What You Can Expect:

  • You will have a strong focus on preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • You will have a background in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • You will partner with the Bottling Operators to provide mentorship in solving minor issues with the bottling lines.
  • You will be a champion of driving safety initiatives. You will ensure that safe working conditions exist and that all programs and policies are effectively implemented and practiced.

Experienced required:

  • Time-Served Engineer – Multiskilled with a bias in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Strong Diagnostic and Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to diagnose engineering issues effectively and implement solutions to improve operational efficiencies and control costs.
  • Adaptable Background – While experience in manufacturing is advantageous, technical skills are key. If you’re skilled in engineering, you can successfully transition into a bottling hall environment and work with equipment such as conveyors, pumps, motors, PLC systems, and automated bottling machinery.
  • Hands-On Engineer – A proactive problem solver with the ability to identify the root cause of issues and implement effective solutions across a variety of systems and machinery, including bottling lines, filling machines, labelling machines, and packaging equipment.
