Liquid Quality Lab Analyst
South Ayrshire
Our client who are a leading organisation within the Distilling industry are seeking an experienced Liquid Quality Lab Analyst to join their technical team. This role involves providing practical analytical support to enhance the quality and efficiency of distillery operations, while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse raw materials, in-process, and finished products using standard procedures to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Interpret analytical results and communicate necessary actions to the production team.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure accurate, timely reporting of results to stakeholders.
- Utilise continuous improvement techniques to enhance lab and plant performance.
- Support project work within the technical team and ensure compliance with ISO, OHSAS, and environmental standards.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Experience with analytical method development, validation, and equipment maintenance is desirable
- Experience with HPLC, GC
