The Position
In this pivotal role, you will be an experienced leader who excels at driving teams to exceed expectations and inspiring the Development and QA team to consistently deliver outstanding results. With the following 
Key Responsibilities;

Leadership

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, ensuring best practices are woven into every stage of development processes. Driving motivation across the team, ensuring continuous improvement and success.
  • Develop a framework that fosters success and ensures all team members understand their contribution to both client and business goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating emerging technologies to continuously enhance services and foster innovation within the team and implement training programmes that help key team members develop essential skills in digital transformation.
  • Guarantee that all team deliverables meet client briefs, exceed expectations, and adhere to best practices.

Performance

  • Establish, communicate, and track performance targets focusing on quality, adherence to deadlines, and billability.
  • Foster ownership within the team, focusing on delivering secure, high-quality work efficiently.
  • Evaluate and implement training and certification programmes to keep team skills current and competitive with industry trends.
  • Assist in Business Development by supporting pitches and presentations.

Management

  • Oversee a large team of software engineers, testers, and architects.
  • Manage recruitment processes in partnership with business unit leaders.
  • Develop Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for team members and ensure continuous career growth.
  • Ensure the timely completion of daily tasks and analyse team performance to ensure targets are met.
