CAD Technician

We are supporting a business we have worked with for a number of years to recruit someone to work in their Ayrshire based office to focus on supporting their UK based clients from a design perspective.
The company is well established and the leader in the UK in their field. They design their products to the client specification so this role will be very much client facing where you will work on making changes to drawings using CAD system but also working on bespoke designs. You will need to ensure you are in line with British Standards and be able to manage client expectations as well as answer questions on Building Control.
This is a smaller company with a lean structure which means you will have exposure to working across different areas and picking up more responsibilities as you get more experienced in the company products, processes and culture. With this comes opportunity, to learn , to progress and to become more rounded in your experience.
To be successful for this position, we are looking for people with the following skills and experience:
- CAD experience
- Ideally come from a structural/building environment and be able to answer questions on building control
- Be able to work as part of a small team
- Be comfortable communicating internally and externally
- Want to be involved in more areas of the business in time
- Be flexible in your approach
- Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks at the same time
This role is based on site full time in Ayrshire so you must be able to commit to this.
