Brand Manager

Location: Glasgow – Hybrid(2 days in office p/week)

Salary: Up to £45,000 + bonus

 

Our client, a leading global drinks business with a portfolio of well-established brands, is seeking a Brand Manager to join their team in Glasgow. Our client is a leading global drinks business with a portfolio of well-established brands, operating across North America, Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. The company is involved in the production, marketing, and distribution of alcoholic beverages under well-known brands.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for developing and effectively implementing brand plans aligned to the market focus areas and agreed channel strategy in the UK with a focus on Digital. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and have autonomy over your brands.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute consumer-focused activations and annual channel plans to enhance brand presence and drive sales.
  • Plan and implement full omnichannel campaigns to deliver on brand strategy and increase engagement.
  • Support the team lead with brand strategy, planning and content development for digital channels.
  • Create digital Shopper and Trade marketing plans for in-store and eCommerce channels and deliver digital brand campaigns according to best practices.
  • Work closely with agencies to develop and implement digital marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital campaigns and make UK adaptations to ensure relevant execution.
  • Utilize consumer insights to report on digital trends and support commercial teams with valuable reports.
  • Acting as the brand guardian to produce and deliver marketing material and collateral.
  • Achieve overall brand health targets by driving the digital implementation of the regional brand plan across key touchpoints and channels.
  • Develop and manage relationships with digital retail partners to ensure seamless execution of shopper marketing plans.

Requirements:

  • Circa 3-4 years plus relevant experience.
  • Appropriate marketing qualification.
  • Demonstrated marketing expertise in executing brands, preferably across multiple categories/FMCGs.
  • Proven track record in digital marketing and experience in Ecommerce.
  • Ambitious, commercial, and creative marketer with a proactive approach.
  • Thorough understanding of the UK channel landscape.
  • Knowledgeable about product pricing, packaging, distribution, and positioning.
  • Up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and best practices.
  • Proficient in research and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Digital certifications are considered a plus.
  • Prior FMCG or retail marketing experience is required to be considered for this position.
