The Ideal Candidate:
As a highly skilled Analyst who loves improving business intelligence with data solutions and having extensive experience in building dashboards in Looker Studio / BigQuery, priding themselves on accuracy; an innovative thinker looking for areas they can make wins, providing insights to complement the data and actively participating in the growth and success of the business. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, data visualisation, and business intelligence tools to support their strategic goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Dashboard Creation & Maintenance: Utilise your expertise in Google Looker, Google Looker Studio, and SQL to design and maintain visually compelling dashboards. You’ll convert complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Data Integration & Management: Leverage BigQuery and Azure Data Lake to integrate, manage, and analyse large datasets. Your SQL skills will be crucial in crafting bespoke queries to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements, delivering solutions that enable them to make informed decisions. You’ll play a key role in shaping their data strategy and ensuring their business stays ahead of the curve.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in Google Looker & Looker Studio: Experience in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide valuable insights.
- Strong SQL Skills: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, with a focus on optimising performance and accuracy.
- Experience with BigQuery & Azure Data Lake: Familiarity with these platforms for data storage, integration and analysis.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving attitude.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with different teams.
- Education: A Mathematics or Economics degree, not a show stopper.
