The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, along with excellent analytical abilities and a keen attention to detail. As an accountant at KPP, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. There is a route to partnership with this role for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Full accounts preparation
- Complete VAT and Corporate Tax returns
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with audits and tax filings
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Practice experience is beneficial
- Experience in Ltd Companies, Sole Traders and Partnership
- CPA certification preferred
- 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g Xero)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
