The site produces over 20 million cases of their flagship brands every year and has been undergoing a period of huge investment and growth. They are now looking ahead at their roadmap and are looking to bring talented engineers into their busy maintenance teams.

The scope of Operations stretches from Procurement through conversion (distillation and maturation) and manufacturing (or bottling) to all the downstream Supply Chain activities until the final product is delivered. In addition, Operations play a very active role in Innovation, Talent Development and Operational Risk Management.
The Bottling and Warehousing teams are based across three factories at the Kilmalid Campus in Dumbarton. The site produces over 20 million cases of flagship brands every year such as Beefeater, Glen Livet, Chivas and Ballantine’s, the focus on quality is paramount. In addition to Quality Focus, they put Safety First above anything else whilst we deliver their customer’s expectations and business targets in efficiency and cost. There are a variety of maintenance roles available across different shift patterns (double dayshift, nightshift and weekend shift) and we are looking for a variety of engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical and controls and automation engineers.
These roles are a blend of supporting operations in achieving performance levels in bottling machinery and equipment and supporting the planned maintenance and Continuous Improvement activities.
You will have four main areas of responsibility:
- Supporting Operations – You will be supporting the bottling teams with continued electrical response as part of a 2-person team and also leading Continuous Improvement projects in the controls and automation field. You could also be supporting the teams with line cover and mechanical support to minimise setup and breakdown losses during production time.
- Maintenance – to maintain and improve the hall equipment performance to agreed targets and ensure planned preventative maintenance for all electrical systems is completed according to the CMMS schedule.
- Continuous Improvement – to participate in all continuous improvement initiatives. You will also initiate, implement, and follow up on A3 projects in a continuous improvement environment.
- Collaboration – you will provide administrative support to the team through effective written and verbal communication and ensure continuity of work priorities and information flow during on-shift.
