1. Can you tell us a little about your background before you joined the team at Nine Twenty Recruitment?
After graduating from Glasgow University, I lived and worked in Beijing as an English Teacher before returning to Scotland to start a career in recruitment.
Before joining Nine Twenty Recruitment, I worked in recruitment for two years focusing on Procurement and Business Transformation within the Financial Services.
2. What attracted you to working with our team?
I have always heard great things about the team and company. Having met the team members it was clear that we had the same goal, and that Nine Twenty Recruitment would be able to offer me the learning and development that I was seeking. The type of clients and service that Nine Twenty Recruitment offer their clients were all things that piqued my interest.
3. What does your role in the business involve?
Procurement and Supply Chain Consultant working with leading organisations throughout Scotland within Engineering and Manufacturing. My job is to support our clients in finding them the best talent.
4. What is your focus over the next 3 months?
To support Danielle Scott within Procurement and Supply Chain to help build the business.
5. Tell us more about who you are out of work?
Outside of work I play a lot of golf. Having competed throughout my time at university, I enjoy the fact that I still have the opportunity to travel around Scotland to compete.
6. What is your biggest success so far?
So far, I think my biggest success is getting settled and adjusted to a new market. Whilst I had prior experience within Procurement and Supply Chain, my work with Nine Twenty Recruitment focuses on a different area within the market, particularly the drinks industry and therefore the fact I have been able to support and service a number of our clients successfully so far, I find a success.
