If you’ve been with me for my last two blogs (or even if you haven’t!), you may wonder why I, a non-smoker, have been taking such an interest in vaping and e-cigarettes. The answer, I trust, will be clear in a minute, but first a quick resume of where we’ve come from.
I recently met with some really interesting people at a very interesting company called JAC Vapour. As I have said, I’m not a smoker, but it was fascinating to learn about the technology behind e-cigarettes and, as the previous blogs described, the facts behind a science that definitely seems to be beneficial in helping people turn away from the genuinely dangerous stuff that real cigarettes contain.
JAC Vapour are unique in this market. Scottish-based, entrepreneurial and with a commitment to quality, safety and technological innovation that means their products are, as near as can be, bespoke to their users, they are growing rapidly in what is a rapidly growing market. The reason they asked to meet me was to help them with this growth; specifically to help them recruit three new, talented individuals who will take JAC Vapour to the next level of their planned expansion.
E-Commerce Marketing Director
Your remit will be straightforward: to develop the jacvapour.com website and also support their two brand-owned retail outlets in Edinburgh and Leeds – with two more to open before the end of 2015. Maximising the potential of their current online sales channels (Amazon and EBay plus one foreign language site) and developing new routes to market by adding four new foreign language sites in the next 12 months will be key responsibilities. This is a job for a marketing professional looking for the next big challenge in a new business environment that is uniquely different and exceptionally competitive.
Head of Insight Marketing
Put simply, we’re looking for a data expert, someone who eats, sleeps and breathes data and who understands how to use them to lead and shape the insights and analysis function of our business. This is a key position that will be central to our web-centric, customer-focused approach to developing the business.
Customer Service Manager
JAC Vapour have a unique approach to customer service. Their help desk and customer service team are at the forefront of the business, literally every day. Managing that team and ensuring that they drive up their (already high) standards will be essential if JAC Vapour are to meet their targets for growth. If you share their desire for great customer service and have the personality and management skills they’re looking for then get in touch.
