Nine Twenty Sales & Marketing are delighted to be working with our client to recruit their Head of Paid Marketing vacancy, to be based in the Glasgow headquarters. Our client is one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in the UK with huge plans for growth and expansion, so this is an exciting time to get on board! 

This role will involve working closely with the CMO and managing the Paid Media Team, so we are looking for an experienced, talented and passionate digital marketing specialist to lead, develop and implement Paid Search strategies. This is a fast paced and varied role that includes campaign structure, keyword research, keyword management, keyword bidding, ad copy writing and testing, search content integration, related search strategies, landing page testing, and any other core capability required to maximize results, drive volume and hit target.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and motivate the Paid Marketing Team to ensure growth, profitability and ROI
  • Drive growth by developing, managing and delivering our Paid Media plans by leveraging data and analytics to drive insights and delivery profitable, considered, targeted, personalised and segmented campaigns
  • Develop accurate performance and ROI forecasts for each campaign based on historical metrics and growth plans and manage Paid Marketing budgets, analysing results to optimise learning and ensure continuous improvement in each successive campaign
  • Lead overall Paid Search function including overall strategy, producing traffic generation, revenue growth and conversion improvements in line with goals and forecasts, setting the budget spend priorities, and measuring overall results against plan
  • Monitor and analyse performance overall against traffic, CPA and ROI goals and continually make and implement recommendations for optimisation and ongoing growth
  • Be focused on optimisation tests and growth opportunities for areas for additional investment and growth
  • Lead overall integrated campaign strategy and plans, outlining key marketing themes, messages, and offers and mediums for promotions throughout the year
  • Work closely with other marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure a co-ordinated approach and that best practices and learnings are shared across various teams for continual improvement and optimisation
  • Innovate and keep on top of trends in the ever changing digital marketing area, planning campaigns to optimise response among target consumer segments
  • Deliver objectives, KPIs, targets, forecasts & budgets for the paid marketing vertical

To be considered for this role, candidates should have :

  • You will have over 5 years of e-commerce and digital marketing experience of planning and delivering compelling and successful paid media campaigns.
  • The ability to approach every challenge as an opportunity and apply creative, out-the-box thinking to overcoming obstacles and taking advantage of opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Experience of PPC, Search Ads, Online Display Advertising, Re-Targeting Affiliates, Social Media Advertising, Promoted Posts | Sponsored Tweets
  • You will have the experience to ensure that marketing and advertising plans across your channels support sales objectives and capitalise on opportunities.
  • You will know how to manage the website P&L to meet sales targets and deliver ROI.
  • Min 5 years extensive Digital Marketing experience specifically in paid activities
  • Degree Educated, preferably in Business and or Marketing
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office programmes – specifically Excel
