Well it’s your lucky day because Nine Twenty Supply Chain have the pleasure of working with a Public Sector Organisation who are currently looking to appoint an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist in their Kilmarnock base. This roles is very varied and unique and will either be based within their new offices working on operational procurement projects or being part of the procurement function working within their client’s sites.

Building strong working relationships with both internal and stakeholders is key for this role as you will provide expert procurement guidance and support both to Stakeholders and Suppliers.
Experience and knowledge required for the role:-
- Proven Purchasing experience within a Public Sector Organisation
- Significant knowledge of EU & Equality purchasing legislation with Education sector
- Proven experience in tendering and management methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of the principles of contract drafting and negotiation
- Experience of project management processes and of meeting demanding targets and deadlines on a day to day basis
- Multi round price negotiation skills
